CHECK FOR OIL LEAKING * 23215 6.30 First refer to GSB 20-7065 and verify leakage concern. Next, refer to GSB G0000167 for white fluorescent dye usage. After inspection confirm engine oil leak- caused; by failed-front cover seal. Remove front [cover and reseal following GSB G0OOO166 for surface preparation Change oil and filter, clean engine, road test and check after repairs:. No other oil leaks found at this time

FOUND THAT OIL LEAK IS NOW CORRECTED. COMPLETED.

LOCATED NEAR ONE OF THE BOLTS NEAR DRAIN PLUG (PASS SIDE BOLT). RUN VEHICLE IN AIR AND VERIFY LEAK IS COMING FROM GASKET. PAN WAS REMOVED AND ALL MATING SURFACES CLEANED BEFORE NEW
SEALANT WAS INSTALLED. VERIFIED TORQUE ON ALL BOLTS SERVICED. FILL VEHICLE WITH OIL AFTER SEALANT DRIES. RUN VEHICLE AND TEST FOR LEAKS. NO FURTHER LEAKS WERE FOUND DURING THIS VISIT. VERIFY ENGINE OIL LEVEL WITH DIPSTICK. THE VEHICLE WAS TEST-DRIVEN FOR OPERATION. THE VEHICLE IS READY FOR PICK UP.

continued oil leak, * Do not see any history of an engine oil leak on previous repair orders. Inspected vehicle in the shop. Found oil present on top of the engine cover and on the underside of the hood, appears to have been run with oil cap off. The oil level is slightly overfilled. Suggest degreasing engine, added oil dye. correcting oil level, then return for inspection in 1500 1700 miles or2400-2700to recheck for leaks and also check oil consumption. Degreased oil from the engine. Corrected engine oil level. Added dye to oil. Vehicle to return in 2400-2700Km (1500 1700 miles) to check for leaks and oil consumption amount.

THERE IS AN OIL LEAKING COMING FROM THE UNDER THE ENGINE * porous engine block inspect, found engine oil leaking from behind AC compressor bracket, inspect timing gear housing gasket, the gasket is dry, found oil coming from lower AC compressor mounting bracket bolt boss, upon inspection, found no block openings in this area for engine oil, engine oil cooler is dry and leak-free, contact ТÐ?, ТÐ? agreed, the block is porous in this area, replaced engine short block, transfer all parts, reassembled vehicle, evac and recharged ac performed Cummins break-in procedure, test drove, re inspected vehicle no further leaks found

ENGINE LEAKING OIL * found there was oil leaking at the oil filter area, cleaned off the area and let the engine run and found the upper о-ring of the oil cooler was leaking. replaced the oil cooler, topped off the oil and coolant levels and test drove and found no further concern.
