ENGINE PERFORMANCE CONCERN [THE VEHICLE IS STILL OVERHEATING
AT AN IDLE AND DRIVING] * test drove the vehicle over 20 miles in various conditions, tested cooling system for exhaust gasses. performed cooling system pressure test and inspected the vehicle for leaks, removed the spark plugs and pressurized cooling system 
overnight, inspected all cylinders for coolant leaks and to be sure the cooling system holds pressure, scanned vehicle for codes, and started a star case# 101941855. unable to duplicate customers'  concerns, rec. customer ride along to recreate customers. service manager test drove with Joel, along with numerous test drives totaling 84 miles driven, all indications show no overheating. OUT 19792. CHECKED AND VERIFIED COOLANT LOW LEVEL LIGHT ON. CONNECTED
CHARGER, SDS AND PERFORMED SHORT TEST. FOUND CODE 25567B SENSOR"
COOLANT LEVEL" THE FLUID IS LOW. PERFORMED GUIDED TEST, CHECK COOLANT
FOR LEAKS. FOUND COOLANT RESERVOIR SLIGHTLY LOW. INSTALLED PRESSURE TESTER AND APPLIED 15 PSI. RACKED VEHICLE ONTO HOIST AND REMOVED ALL
LOWER ENGINE PANELS. INSPECTED BUT FOUND NO LEAK PRESENT. PERFORMED
PRESSURE TEST ON COOLANT CAP. FOUND ISSUE IS WITH COOLANT CAP. REMOVED
AND REPLACE COOLANT CAP. ERASED CODE AND PERFORMED TEST DRIVE MILES IN
19792 MILES OUT 19796. ISSUE NO LONGER PRESENT AT THIS TIME.
guest states that the vehicle is overheating and
leaking coolant. * head gaskets failed and need to be replaced. checked vehicle overheats, performed a chemical test to check for hydrocarbons in the cooling system and the test came back positive for combustion chamber gasses in the coolant, removed both heads and inspected engine, no damage was found with the engine block, checked the heads and again found no problems. checked the engine deck and both heads for warp, all was within specs. inspected the head gaskets and found a weak spot between the water jacket and the combustion chamber on the left head. cleaned heads and engine block and reinstalled the heads with new gaskets in place. replaced the oil filter and filled with new oil and coolant, test drove to verify proper operation.
