ADDED OPERATION. * VERIFIED CUSTOMER COMPLAINT, FOUND LEFT SIDE MOTOR MOUNT LEAKING. Installed 68277082AA :SUPPORT: ENGINE SUPPORT REPLACED LEFT SIDE MOTOR MOUNT.
vehicle vibrates at low speed * TEST OROVE VEHICLE. VERIFIED CUSTOMER CONCERNS. VEHICLE HAS SLIGHT VIBRATION AT 1100 TO 1400 RPMS. I CHECKED TCC SLIP. NO-SLIP AT THIS TIME. DROVE VEHICLE WITH FIELD ENGINEER. VERIFIED VIBRATION OCCURS WHEN CYLINDERS SHUT OFF FROM ACTIVE FUEL MANAGEMENT. VIBRATION OCCURS DO TO TONE CHANGES IN EXHAUST FROM ACTIVE FUEL MANAGEMENT. AS PER BULLETIN 06-06-0S001H CONDITION IS NORMAL. NO REPAIRS TO BE DONE.

REPLACED COMPRESSOR IS OPERATING AS DESIGNED AT THIS TIME
WHEN COLD, THE VEHICLE REALLY STUTTERS & WHIRS WHEN TURNING THE STEERING WHEEL JUST PART WAY AND MOVING. ALSO RYTHMIC NOISE AT IDLE. * INCORRECT TOLERANCE 293-100 ENGINE R&R FOR CAMSHAFT SERVICING.17974 STEERING ISSUE NORMAL TIRE SCRUBBING. VERIFIED RHYTHMIC ENGINE NOISE. INSPECTED OIL THROUGH STRAINER, NO DEBRIS FOUND. REMOVED DRIVE BELT AND INSPECTED WATER PUMP, NO ABNORMAL NOISE HEARD THERE.TRACED TO POSSIBLE INTERNAL HIGH PRESSURE FUEL PUMP. REMOVED AND INSPECTED COMPONENTS AND CAM LOBE, NO ABNORMAL WEAR FOUND. REPLACED PUMP AND PRESSURE LINE ALONG WITH BASE. RE-INSTALLED ALL PREVIOUSLY REMOVED COMPONENTS AND NOISE STILL PRESENT. TECH LINE CASE#64794724520. CHECKED CID#LF9D010G AND  VN#8C68C76F, BOTH ORIGINAL, NO MODIFICATIONS. SENT VIDEO OF NOISE TO FSE. ADVISED TO INSPECT LH CYLINDER HEAD VALVE LASH. REMOVED LEFT HAND VALVE COVER AND INSPECTED CAMSHAFT CLEARANCE, ALL WITHIN SPECIFICATIONS. ADVISED BY FSE TO REMOVE CAMS AND INSPECT BEARING SURFACES. REMOVED ENGINE AND LEFT HAND CAMS. FOUND SOME SCORING IN INTAKE CENTER CAM JOURNAL. NOTICED SOME SCORING IN CHAIN TENSIONERS. SENT PICTURES TO FSE AND WAS ADVISED TO REPLACE LEFT SIDE CAM CARRIER, BOTH CAMS, CAM GEARS AND BOTH TENSIONERS. REPLACED ALL AND REINSTALLED ENGINE. NOISE NO LONGER PRESENT. TEST DROVE ALL GOOD. ADDITIONAL 4.1 HOURS FOR THE HIGH PRESSURE FUEL PUMP & BASE rEPLACEMENT AND VALVE LASH INSPECTIONS PER FSE.

CYLINDER 6 AND 7, REASSEMBLED, SYSTEM OPERATING AS DESIGNED AFTER REPAIR.
THE STEERING WHEEL SHAKES AT TIMES (ENGINE MISFIRE?). DID ACT UP YESTERDAY. FOR 7-8 SECONDS * ENGINE HAS SET P1101 INTAKE AIR FLOW SYSTEM PERFORMANCE CHECKED AIR INTAKE SYSTEM FOR LOOSENESS AND OBSTRUCTIONS. FOUND THE INTAKE MANIFOLD BOLTS NOT TORQUED CORRECTLY RESEAL INTAKE MANIFOLD TORQUED ALL BOLTS TO 106 IN LBS CLEARED CODES AND RESET FUEL TRIM
WHEN COMING TO A STOP THE THEN ENGINE STARTS TO SHAKE NO WARNING LIGHTS. * FRONT MOTOR MOUNT GROUNDING OUT.
