THE CAR IS LURCHING WHILE DRIVING. * Exhaust Gas Recirculation valve causing load
calculation/ charge issues due to failures in operation. Test drove the vehicle to determine the parameters that define the client's concern (ie. transmission, engine/power flow, suspension?) Using the Xentry-SDS, disregarded concerns and addressed systems timed with the occurrence. Verified that the EGR system was causing the dynamic pressure changes to the induction/charge to create the condition. Replaced the EGR valve, carried out the relearn procedures for the proper function of the new valve. Cleaned the valve mounting and visible passages. Inspected the EGR cooler (with a borescope) to ensure the conditions were present. Test drove the vehicle with the intent to isolate further reoccurrence. The vehicle drives functions as intended at this time.
