COMPLETE BRAKE CHECK/Brake issue. Customer is still having the same problem. He took it back to Tire Kingdom and they stated it was a computer issue. * Both rear calipers sized, piston binding in bore
Road tested vehicle, and was initially unable to duplicate, after driving extended distance and then applying brakes, noted that a slight dragging sensation could be felt, raised vehicle in rear and inspected brakes to find right rear caliper was
dragging, slides and pins had plenty of lubrication. Replaced both rear caliper, bled brakes and road tested again.
REQUESTED TO HAVE THE BRAKES CHECKED.

PARKING BRAKE. STARTED SETTING BY ITSELF WHEN PUTTING IN PARK * 10041 check vehicle for FAILURE OR COMUNICATIONS codes related to THE BRAKE SISTEM AND FOUND NONE. OPERATED SHIFTER ASSEMBLY FROM PARK TU DRIVE AND PARK TU REVENSE SEVERAL TIMES AND ROAD TESTED VEHICLE AND COULD NOT DUPLICATE CONCERN
CUSTOMER REQUEST COMPLETE BRAKE CHECK-customer states a brake is dragging * Road tested vehicle extensively, issue with brake temperature difference appears to have been mitigated, only seeing temperature differences of about 15 degrees left to right on the rear brakes. Road tested vehicle over 50 miles. Customer to
pick vehicle up and return when issue is prevalent, or making noise. Escalated case to level 2, and requested FSE assistance for when vehicle does return.

ALSO PAD MATERIAL. Correction FINAL REPAIR ATTTEMPT: CASE # 9-6828961715ROAD TESTED VEHICLE, NOTED NO SIGNIFICANT BRAKE PULL, NOISES, OR ABNORMAL OPERATION, BUT DID NOTE SLIGHT TEMPERATURE VARIANCE ON REAR BRAKES, RIGHT RIGHT SIDE AT 99 DEGREES, LEFT SIDE AT 104 DEGREES.
(LEFT SIDE WAS HOTTER). REMOVED AND INSPECTED BRAKES FOUND DIRT AND DEBRIS ACCUMULATED AROUND BOTH CALIPER PISTONS AND SLIDE PINS ON THE REAR AND LEFT SIDE CALIPER SLIDE PIN WAS BINDING SLIGHTY. CLEANED AND LUBRICATED CALIPER SLIDE PINS ON REAR. ALSO REPLACED REAR BRAKE PADS WITH UPDATED PAD MATERIAL TO HELP PREVENT PREMATURE WEAR. ROAD TESTED VEHICLE APPROXIMATELY 40 MILES, OVER 3 SEPERATE DRIVES, NOTED NO
SIGNIFICANT DIFFERNCE IN BRAKE TEMPERATURES. GIVEN MILEAGE SINCE LAST SERVICE OF BRAKES ADVISED CUSTOMER TO CLEAN DIRT AND DEBRIS FROM BRAKES WEEKLY. CUSTOMER HAD ALSO ADVISED
THEY DO DO TOW NEAR CAPACITY OF VEHICLE, REMINDED CUSTOMER TO MAKE SURE OPERATORS ARE VEHICLE ARE USING TOW HAUL MODE, AND THE EQUIPPED EXHAUST BRAKE TO MINIMIZE LOAD AND STRAIN ON SERVICE BRAKES DURING HEAVY LOADED OPERATION.

Correction Replaced the left rear caliper and the rear brake pads
TOWING REQUIRED. TOW TOWING REQUIRED THE PARKING BRAKE IS STUCK ON. * VERSION 1 (EMP# 19566,15OCT20 18:04): 36529 PERFORMED SHORT TEST FOUND CODES B23AB78, B23AB77, B23AB95, B23D176, AND B23D177. PARKING THE BRAKE ACTUATOR MOTOR ON THE RIGHT SIDE WAS NOT OPERATING DUE TO AN INTERNAL FAULT. DISCONNECTED THE BATTERY GROUND. REMOVED AND REPLACED THE RIGHT REAR PARKING BRAKE ACTUATOR MOTOR SEAL. REMOVED AND REPLACED THE RIGHT REAR PARKING BRAKE ACTUATOR MOTOR. RECONNECTED THE BATTERY. TEST DROVE VEHICLE FROM 36,520 MILES TO 36,529 MILES. PERFORMED A FINAL SHORT TEST AND CLEARED THE CODES. THE PARKING BRAKE ACTUATOR MOTOR IS OPERATING AS DESIGNED AT THIS TIME.
