HISTORY INDICATES GLAZING WAS OCCURING FROM TOWING TRAILER WITHOUT  ASSISTANCE OF TRAILER BRAKES. CUSTOMER HAS SINCE REPLACED HIS TRAILER WITH ANOTHER UNIT THAT HAS TRAILER BRAKES EQUIPPED. REQUESTED AND RECEIVED AUTHORIZATION FROM GM TO
PERFORM GOOD WILL REPLACEMENT OF BRAKE PADS FRONT AND REAR AS WELL AS BURINISHING OF BRAKE ROTORS FRONT AND REAR. REPLACED FRONT AND REAR PADS, AND BURNISHED GLAZE OFF OF FRONT AND REAR ROTORS ADVISED CUSTOMER CONTINUED USE OF TRAILER BRAKE EQUIPMENT WHILE TOWING, WILL PREVENT BRAKES FROM GLAZING PREMATURELY. ROAD TESTED TO CONFIRM OPERATION

BRAKES TAKE A LONG TIME TO STOP * scan for dtcs, reprogram bscm per bulletin #20-na-073. road test, DTC c05bo reset current, inspect brake system for possible external leakage and verified no air in the system, the system continues to fail brake hydraulics test, necc to replace brake master cylinder with the power brake booster and electronic brake control module, reprogram new bscm, complete setup, bleed brake, ran brake hydraulics test and road test. water tech 1098 programming code for bulletin 28 yn77369927, programming code for new module 28yn77659382, fdyn 77660574.

A C/S BRAKE LIGHT IS ON AND EBRAKE IS VERY EASY TO ENGAGE AND IS NOT HOLDING. * REMOVED THE LEFT REAR CALIPER AND ROTOR ALONG WITH THE E-BRAKE SHOES. REMOVED THE E-BRAKE LINK. REPLACED LINK AND RE ASSEMBLED THE BRAKES AND ADJUSTED THE E-BRAKE SHOES. NOW THE E- BRAKE HOLDS AND PEDAL IS STIFF. CABLE ALSO DOESN'T HANG DOWN ANYMORE.
